Natural Tunnel Virginia 5-10-2007

The tunnel is over 850 feet long and is surrounded by rock walls over 400 feet high. Access to the mouth of the tunnel is by trail or chairlift. Chairlift wasn't running the day I was there and it is quite a climb back out of the tunnel trail. Nice trails however. This railroad is still in use today moving coal from nearby coal mines.
